My Favorite Resources

Academic Planner from Order Out of Chaos

academic plannerWe love these planners from Leslie Josel and Order Out of Chaos.

Why? They’re durable (it lasts a full year with my ADHD son), practical, functional. Plus they teach time management, reduce stress and can be fun to decorate. (If you need additional reasons, I did a whole video series of love for these planners on Instagram!)

Time Timer

If there’s ONE tool that will change your life with your child, it’s the Time Timer.  A tool that has multiple uses, this is one of the best for children who have challenges transitioning, staying on task and managing their time.  (See my video series on this via Facebook or Instagram).

Dr. Josh Axe

Dr. Axe is one of the leading functional/ holistic/ wellness doctors out there.  He is the guru of all things body, food, mind and supplements.  He has an exceptional line of products as well!  If you take more of a holistic approach with your child, this is the doctor to help support you!

Lands' End

One of the best websites for backpacks, school uniforms, durable “iron knee” pants that can stand the test of rough play!  Their clothing and products are some of the best wearable, durable and functional in the market (with great patterns, too!) AND they also are affordable and have great sales throughout the year…an extra plus!

Planner Pads

I like this planner because it is TASK oriented and uses a “funnel down” approach to accomplishing your goals each week.  It’s great for the ADHD brain that needs “room to move” within their week’s schedule and allows flexibility within the week.  This planner breaks down each task (VERY important to the ADHD Brain!) and then allows for blocking off time each day to work successfully and accomplish each task and goal.

Parent Teens

ParentTeens ClubI became a member of The Parent Teens club to share all things ADHD.  This online magazine has everything TEEN related and is a fabulous resource.  From managing social media, social skills, anxiety, depression, eating disorders – you name it, there is an “Expert” with answers on the subject.

ADHD Lullaby

Brian Wisda of ADHD Lullaby™. Watch took on the challenge of getting his ADHD son to sleep each night and perfected a method of recording music using principles from neuroscience which helped puts kid with ADHD to sleep fast. Which, we can all agree, is music to a parent’s ears!
